چکیده
High current qualities and high efficiencies are always two important characteristics for power converters. However, it is challenging to achieve the targets simultaneously. In this paper, dead-time-effect elimination pulse-width-modulation (PWM) improving discontinuous PWM (DPWM) reducing switching losses combined, proposing a double-modulation-wave DPWM. An additional modulation wave added, whose amplitude adjusted according polarity. By utilizing added drive pulses in freewheeling stage, proposed DPWM successfully reduces dependence on polarities. The overmodulation phenomenon brought by analysed, which proved be negligible achieving maximum index of 1.15. Finally, effectiveness experimentally verified at frequency 40 kHz.

A New Pulsating Power Elimination Method for Single-Phase PWM AC/DC Converters with Minimum Voltage and Current Stress
An inherent problem of single-phase rectifiers is the existence of a pulsating portion in the input power, which pulsates at twice the grid frequency. If this pulsating power is transferred to the DC-link, it causes a significant amount of second-order harmonic at the output voltage. Since in many applications, such a high level of DC oscillation is not acceptable, so the pulsating power must b...

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
An Efficient Strategy for Power Rating Reduction of Back-to-Back Converters Used in Railway Power Conditioner
One of the most common solutions to deal with the power quality issues of electrical railway systems is employing Railway Power Conditioner (RPC). In the conventional mode of operation, the RPC power rating deployed in every Traction Power Substation (TPS) is significantly large. This paper mainly focuses on the power rating reduction of RPC through presenting a novel combinatorial compensation...
متن کاملDesign Criteria for Sepic and Cuk Converters as Power Factor Preregulators in Discontinuous Conduction Mode
Power Factor Preregulators (PFP) have been used to improve input current waveform of off-line power supplies. There are two major approaches in implementing control circuits in PFP: the multiplier approach and the voltage-follower approach. The simplest one is the voltage-follower approach because the converter operates in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), and only one loop control is requir...
متن کاملA Repetitive Control- based Approach for Power Sharing among Boost Converters in DC Microgrids
In this paper a repetitive control (RC) approach to improve current sharing between parallel-connected boost converters in DC microgrids is presented. The impact of changes in line impedance on current sharing is investigated. A repetitive controller is designed and connected in series with current controller of the boost converters to control the switching signals such that by regulating of th...
